Form the artistic collaboration between Twigs and Huang emerged a “dreamlike ascent embodied by a CGI sphinx, a hellish collapse into the ether, and an interplanetary restoration” (Darville, 2019).

The director of the music video for Cellophane Andrew Thomas Huang speaks on working with twigs and the process of creation: “This story that we just did is about someone trying to achieve excellence. The story is quite archetypal. We've all been hit by that truck in some way or another, and that's why people relate to it” (Huang, 2019). He sees the ecosystem, the industry of an artist like Twigs as the reason for receiving massive hate online because they are operating in a very scars realm.

He explains the storyboarding phase as having a three-layered structure to it – the ‘mortal earthly plane’, the ‘heavenly world above the stage’ and finally, the ‘underworld’ at the end of the video. (Benjamin, 2019)

Huang often finds the first form of inspiration from a turn to nature. In order to invent things he goes back to nature as a starting place for references. (Darville, 2019)
